Endeavor

Endeavor is a global non-profit organization that selects and supports high-impact entrepreneurs to enhance their long-term perspectives. Through its offices, located in 33 countries, Endeavor identifies entrepreneurs who lead fast-growing companies and helps them maximize their potential by making available a unique network of mentors and allies. To date, Endeavor has evaluated more than 50,000 entrepreneurs and selected close to 1,800, who lead more than 1,100 high-growth companies.

The growth of the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem has been enviable and the 38 impact entrepreneurs selected by Endeavor have shown this with the creation of more than 450,000 jobs, direct and indirect, 425 million euros raised by their startups and income that last year only exceeded 1,100 million euros.

This international organization seeks to contribute to the economic and social development of each country in which it operates by supporting high impact entrepreneurs.

Cabify, Goiko Grill, Ticketea, Gigas or Smartick are some of the most outstanding startups created by Endeavor entrepreneurs in Spain.

Endeavor supports its entrepreneurs in areas where their companies are facing their bigger challenges: international expansion, access to financing and attracting talent. The model requires the participation and close collaboration of three groups:

  • Members of the Board of Trustees, who contribute their leadership and extensive network of contacts.
  • Mentors, who donate their time and knowledge.
  • Entrepreneurs, who work for their companies to grow and generate thousands of jobs.

“Beyond the figures, the important thing is not the amount of operations, but the commitment that each and every one of these companies have shown towards the Spanish society, continuing with the creation of new local jobs and investment in training”.

The selection process covers different:

  • First round Interview (FOR), where the feasibility of the candidates is evaluated, to a mentoring in which the entrepreneurs sit down with 4/6 mentors of the network to evaluate their potential and help them with their challenges.
  • Local Selection Panel (LSP), where it is assessed the candidates preparedness to go to the last stage of the process, an International Selection Panel (ISP).

This event is held eight times a year in different cities around the world, where members of the board and mentors of the global network are invited to interview and evaluate the finalists.

On this most recent process, Madrid has hosted the International Selection Panel (ISP), which was held from April 24th to 26th and from where the next generation of Endeavor entrepreneurs will come out.

“Networks like ours (open, transparent and without borders) will be increasingly important. Hence, Endeavor is firmly committed to continuously supporting high-impact entrepreneurs, helping them grow on a global scale and creating quality employment and wealth for Spanish society.
