The two winning projects will share 50,000 euros in prize money, including a direct economic endowment and a space where they will have the opportunity to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the MUBIL ecosystem for the development of their projects.<\/span><\/p>

The deadline for project registration is now open and will close on July 26. The winners will be announced at the final on October 20, after defending their proposals in front of a panel of experts.<\/span><\/p>

Registration for the second edition of the MUBIL Mobility Awards is now open, with 50,000 euros in prizes as well as a program to promote and stimulate the winning projects. In this edition, MUBIL aims to reward high-impact technology projects in the prototyping phase that are in line with its strategy, focused on the areas of connected mobility, autonomous mobility, shared mobility, electric mobility and associated infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>

The deadline for registering projects is now open and will end on July 26. It can be done on the website<\/b><\/span>: <\/span>https:\/\/mobilityawards.mubil.eus\/es\/<\/span><\/span>.<\/span> The finalists will be announced on September 27, while the winners will be announced at the grand finale on October 20, after defending their proposals before a panel of experts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Prizes will be awarded to two initiatives presenting a minimum viable product or model that solves the identified problem. The first prize is 25,000 euros, while the second project will receive 10,000 euros<\/b><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Both prizes include a space in the offices of MUBIL or in the incubator Bic Berrilan Gipuzkoa for one year, for a maximum amount of 7,500 euros. Also, the two winning projects will have the opportunity to make a contrast within the MUBIL ecosystem, as well as other benefits such as promotion and dissemination of results.<\/span><\/p>

In this edition, the jury is composed of Luis Alonso, researcher at MIT City Science; Daniel Serra, director of the South Innovation Hub at EIT Urban Mobility; Aquilino Pe\u00f1a, founder of KIBO Ventures; Yolanda P\u00e9rez S\u00e1ez, director of BStartup and Hub Empresa at Banco de Sabadell ; Aitor Arzuaga, CEO of Alba Emission Free Energy SA; Jokin Lopetegi, Head of Business Development and New Activities at CAF Group; Marisa Arriola, General Manager of BIC Gipuzkoa and Xavier S\u00e1nchez, Partner at ENION Venture Partners<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

Awards<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>

These awards are organized by MUBIL, which, within the framework of “Etorkizuna Eraikiz”, promotes public-private collaboration to make Gipuzkoa and the Basque Country an international hub in the new mobility sector.<\/span><\/p>

The winners of the first edition of the MUBIL awards are Ecomagnet from Guipuzcoa and Wattson from Madrid for their revolutionary projects in sustainable and intelligent mobility. Ecomagnet won the first prize for its project to recover and process materials from obsolete electric motors in order to obtain rare earths for the manufacture of permanent magnets, which are essential for new electric motors. For its part, Wattson has developed a mobile recharging system based on a transportable storage system, in order to be able to send an “electro-electric station” wherever it is needed. The target audience for this project is both end users and fleet operators<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
