{"id":2906,"date":"2017-07-18T12:22:35","date_gmt":"2017-07-18T10:22:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eneasmagazine.com\/en\/?p=2906"},"modified":"2020-10-01T12:15:08","modified_gmt":"2020-10-01T10:15:08","slug":"hotel-praga-four-seasons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eneasmagazine.com\/en\/lifestyle\/tourism\/hotel-praga-four-seasons\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Seasons Hotel Prague"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h5><em><strong>Past and future converge in architectural design of Four Seasons Hotel Prague <\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #8fa68e;\"><strong><em>21<sup>st<\/sup>-Century Luxury Hotel Marries Renaissance, Classical and Baroque Influences <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Set within the heart of Star\u00e9 M\u011bsto, the cultural and economic heart of the city, Four Seasons Hotel Prague has brought together old and new in an extraordinary property.\u00a0 Headed by D\u016fm a M\u011bsto, a prominent Prague architectural firm, the design of Four Seasons Hotel Prague in the Czech capital has married three exceptional buildings, each varying in period and style, with the addition of a new structure, to create a 21<sup>st<\/sup>-century luxury hotel of unique splendor.<\/p>\n<p>The design and restoration of Four Seasons Hotel Prague tested the creativity of a team of architects, engineers, interior designers and builders.\u00a0 They planned and executed the restoration with careful preservation of the original internal and external facades.\u00a0 The styles of the older buildings are neo-Renaissance, neo-Classical and Baroque.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #8fa68e;\"><strong><em>The Marriage of Architecture and Artistry <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Winning the project over competing firms during two 1996 contests, D\u016fm a M\u011bsto headed the three-year development, which required remarkable planning and coordination with Prague\u2019s Department of City Development and the Ancient Monuments Department.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe great challenge was to preserve the individuality of each building, creating harmony in the overall design, and reflecting the character of the surrounding Old Town, a city neighborhood known for the grandeur and elegance of its architecture,\u201d said Petr Brzobohat\u00fd, architect, D\u016fm a M\u011bsto.<\/p>\n<p>The unifying building of the Hotel complex combines delicately hued ochre sandstone from a Czech quarry and pale plaster facades with dark roofing to ensure a stylish synchronization with the historic buildings, while allowing each of the Hotel\u2019s structures to retain its individual personality.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/eneasmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/habita.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" class=\"wp-image-2880 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/eneasmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/habita.jpg\" alt=\"habita\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eneasmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/habita.jpg 2276w, https:\/\/eneasmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/habita-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/eneasmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/habita-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eneasmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/habita-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>New Neo-Classical rooms designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon offer unique views of Vltava River and Prague Castle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Four Seasons Hotel Prague, situated on the banks of the Vltava River in the Old City, is continuing to evolve the guest experience through design with the unveiling of newly decorated rooms by French designer <a href=\"http:\/\/press.fourseasons.com\/2011-news-releases\/pierre-yves-rochon\/\">Pierre-Yves Rochon<\/a> in its Neo-Classical building.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #8fa68e;\"><strong><em>Neo-Classical Building Rooms<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The new d\u00e9cor of the rooms located in the Neo-Classical building, which dates back to 1827, is indigenous to the architectural style and respects the history of the building. The colour scheme and style is different from those in the Hotel&#8217;s Modern, Baroque and Renaissance structures. Dominating shades are beige and gold, complementing classical style furnishing in dark brown.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe remodeling project is a testament to our commitment to constantly innovate and most importantly to always enhance the high quality of the guest experience,&#8221; says <a href=\"http:\/\/press.fourseasons.com\/prague\/hotel-team\/rene-beauchamp.html\">Rene Beauchamp,<\/a> general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Prague. &#8220;Our visitors now have a choice of contemporary, Renaissance, Baroque and Neo-Classical designs. CottoCrudo, which means \u201ccooked and raw,\u201d introduces a new dining and lounge concept to the city.
