It is one of the areas with the most beautiful spots in southern Spain. We must highlight the rapids within the Borosa river, the rocks and caves in which the riverbed fits in, and the lush vegetation of the riverbank. In the final part you have to enter an old mine to reach the placid birth. The descent is through the same place. Although it is a constant climb until reaching the source, it is a route suitable for almost all audiences. An immense green spot of about 17,000 hectares that remains almost virgin. It is located in the eastern Navarrese Pyrenees, in a basin surrounded by mountains. The route begins by enjoying the Toxa Waterfall, 25 meters high, to continue the route immersed in the forest, where we can visit the Gothic hermitage of San Pedro de Ansemil and take a short break on the river beach of A Carixa. Along the route you walk among large granite cliffs where we can see quite a few vultures. Along the way there are footbridges on the rock, waterfalls, a cave, pools for diving and a beautiful medieval bridge. But the most fun is that there is a small section that runs within the course of the river. During the route of the valley a well-defined high mountain path is traveled, discovering the different lakes of glacial origin that exist. The Gerber valley is located in Pallars Sobir\u00e1 (L\u00e9rida), within the peripheral area of the Aig\u00fcestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park and limits to the W with the Ar\u00e1n Valley. These four lakes of glacial origin (Cueva, Calabazosa, Cerveriz and Almagrera) were declared a Natural Monument and are part of the Somiedo Biosphere Reserve. After leaving the edge of the lake behind, a zigzag climb of about a kilometer and a half begins, giving away the first panoramic images.
