This innovative approach to Vel\u00e1zquez&#8217;s work is accompanied by baroque music and contemporary rhythms. With the latter, now in the Prado Museum, he competed in the National Exhibition of A concert by a <b>string quintet<\/b> from Madrid to relive the melodies of the best contemporary film musicals such as <u><i>Think of Me<\/i><\/u> from The Phantom of the Opera; <u><i>Somewhere over the rainbow<\/i><\/u> from The Wizard of Oz; <u><i>City Of Stars<\/i><\/u> from La La Land and <u><i>Once Upon a December<\/i><\/u> from Anastasia.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Finally, a <b>special tribute to Coldplay. This certainly influenced the severity of the censors who were reluctant to allow the staging of the assassination of King Gustav III of Sweden, as narrated in Verdi<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span>s libretto. The result is a musical score of contrasts which, while maintaining the immediacy of the masterpieces of the composer<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span>s middle period, goes further by exploring dramatic and musical registers which we encounter fully developed in his later works. The production which opens the season is by Gianmaria Aliverta from the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, it maintains the North American setting chosen by Verdi<span dir=\"RTL\" lang=\"AR-SA\">\u2019<\/span>s librettist as a solution to the vicissitudes imposed by strict censorship.
