The countdown to the reopening of the Parador de Le\u00f3n is already underway. Paradores plans that the Hostal de San Marcos will receive customers again on December 3rd from the lunch service, unless prevented by health restrictions. Reservations can already be made through the public hotel chain’s website and the Customer Relations Center (91 374 25 00 \/ reservas@parador.es<\/a><\/span>).<\/span><\/p>

The Parador de Le\u00f3n closed its doors three years ago to undertake an important integral reform that has meant the total renovation of the Hostal de San Marcos, one of the most emblematic establishments of the hotel.<\/span><\/p>

The Parador was divided into two different spaces: the historical Parador, Hostal de San Marcos, and the “modern” building from the 1970s. At that time it was decided that the work would be divided into two phases. PHASE I: the reform of the historic building and, PHASE II: the construction of a new building for which the existing modern building attached to the historic building was demolished. <\/span><\/p>

The main idea of the rehabilitation project of the Hostal de San Marcos – explains Mina Bringas – is “to recover the original volumetry of the building, a building with perimeter crossings around a courtyard. This space is recovered as the heart of the building”. For this purpose, a closed interior atrium has been built, but with the entrance of natural light. It is a space “on a new level that will house the cafeteria of the Parador and, above it, hanging at a high altitude, you can see in all its splendor the spectacular ceiling of Lucio Mu\u00f1oz, which has been restored,” says the architect.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
