Bentley Flying Spur S a sporty plus with compromises

The luxury Bentley Flying Spur S also features a more sporty look, inside and out. The Brits offer a significant bonus that reinforces the saloon’s characteristics, special equipment that does not translate into an increase in performance.

As exclusive as some models on the market may be, not all customers are looking for extra performance as well as distinction. Bentley has taken note of this customer feedback, the key reason for the new Bentley Flying Spur S.

Bentley’s British luxury saloon already offers sufficient power and performance in the most basic version, if you can call it such, but it features details that enhance the car’s personality, both inside and out. The exterior styling is closer to the special “Black Line” finish, with all chrome detailing turned shiny black. From the radiator grille, the bumper air intakes, the edges of the headlights to the side vents or the rear-view mirrors, as well as the rear light surrounds, which enhance the brightness of the lights, or the exhaust tailpipe trims.

The alloy wheels are 21-inch as standard, 22-inch as an option, both painted black. Behind them, the brake calipers are coated in red.

The stunningly luxurious interior of the Bentley Flying Spur S

The Flying Spur’s spacious interior features the finest natural materials and excellent attention to detail. Its 4+1 seating configuration features a striking combination of primary and secondary leathers. These leathers reflect the car’s athletic personality. Customers can choose from a variety of performance-oriented two-tone colour splits. Padding is optional on the seats, which have a ribbed design.

The Bentley Flying Spur S is available in two versions

The alloy wheels are 21-inch as standard and 22-inch as an option, and both painted black. Behind them, the brake calipers are bathed in red, the only note of contrast. Inside, the atmosphere is also completely transformed, as shiny black bathes the dashboard trim, matching the leather and Nappa leather-trimmed seats in the same colour, and is also present on the steering wheel trim and automatic gearshift. Elements also feature red on the stitching and on the lower dashboard trim. The “S” badges are stitched in red thread on the headrests of the seats and on the door sill scuff plates.

Bentley offers this trim in two versions, the basic 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 delivering a maximum power output of 550 hp, with the addition of a sports exhaust system.

But also in the more sustainable Hybrid version, equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain that combines the 2.9-litre turbocharged V6 engine with an electric motor, delivering a maximum output of 544bhp. Both feature the sophisticated “Bentley Dynamic Ride” body control system, which uses 48V electric motors in the anti-roll bars and active rear-axle steering.
