Ford has decided to extend the range of its first electric SUV with a new and interesting version inspired by the world of rallying. This is the new Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally. A beast on wheels with which you can leave the asphalt of the city and enjoy the fun on land.
The most adventurous and rally-ready version of the Ford Mustang Mach-E has been officially unveiled. Ford’s first 100% electric SUV becomes a vehicle that will delight nature lovers with a version inspired by the world of rallying. After its first appearance at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed 2023, the new Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally bursts onto the scene. Ford has taken the Mustang Mach-E GT as the starting point for creating the rally version. The blue oval company points out that this electric vehicle brings Mustang freedom and fun to dirt roads.

Keys to the new Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally
A quick glance at the images that illustrate this article is all it takes to see how the Rally version differs from a conventional Mustang Mach-E. Inspired by the late Ford Focus RS, the new Mustang Mach-E Rally features a distinctive rear spoiler. The front splitter is also exclusive to this version. It also features 19-inch rally-style alloy wheels finished in bright white. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin CrossClimate tires.
The steel roof is painted black, and a distinctive front end with integrated fog lights is a clear nod to the world of rally. All Mustang Mach-E Rally units feature bodywork with two racing stripes that complement the available color palette: Grabber Blue, Shadow Black, Eruption Green and the striking Grabber Yellow, with Star White or the new Glacier Gray.
Ground clearance has been increased by 20 millimeters thanks to a new exclusive suspension. In addition, to protect the vehicle from all the gravel, the lower part has been equipped with a shield that protects the front and rear engines. The door panels and wheel arches have a protective film.
Aside from the exterior, the interior of the new Mustang Mach-E Rally is a comfortable and functional environment. There are details in bright white spread across the dashboard and steering wheel. A shade that connects to the wheels. The seats have bright white backs and Mach-E Rally lettering engraved on the surface.
The autonomy of the new Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally
Beyond the exterior appearance or the new equipment, all eyes are on the electric powertrain. Ford emphasizes that this new version borrows the electric powertrain from the Mustang Mach-E GT. A powertrain that has been “fine-tuned”.
The “heart” of the new Mustang Mach-E Rally is a 91 kWh (net capacity) lithium-ion battery whose main purpose is to power two motors, one per axle. Total output reaches 358 kW (487 hp) and 880 Nm of peak torque. With one engine per axle, it has four-wheel drive. The driving mode selector features Ford’s first RallySport mode. It is specially designed for off-road driving.
