The most powerful version to date of the new Mercedes-AMG SL premieres special edition, the Motorsport Collectors Edition. The new luxury four-seater convertible is inspired by the colors of the F1 team to commemorate the end of last season in the top competition.
The brand with the star remains faithful to its customs, and once again has paid tribute to its Formula 1 team with the limited edition of one of its sportiest models. The latest addition to this prestigious range is the new generation of the luxury convertible, which is now part of the product offering of the sports division: the Mercedes-AMG SL.
The special edition just presented is the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Motorsport Collectors Edition, with a name that had not been used until now. The four-seater convertible wears a unique clothing, so it can not be ordered in other colors. The body is painted in two colors, a laborious work of gradient that combines the “Obsidian Black” and “High-Tech Silver”, both metallic, the first covering the rear and windshield frames, and the first from the front to the rear wings.
The new-generation Mercedes-AMG SL 63 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 318 km/h (198 mph)

The sides are decorated with a multitude of three-pointed stars. But the exterior design does not end here, because Mercedes-AMG has added two key equipment packages that reinforce the sportiness. The first is the “AMG Aerodynamics”, which adds larger front and rear flics, a more striking rear diffuser including an active profile in the lower bodywork fairing that improves aerodynamics.
The next two are the “AMG Night” packages I and II, combining decorative details in gloss black and darkened chrome. Petronas turquoise blue also enhances the front grille, the rim of the 21-inch alloy wheels and the rear exhaust insert.
Inside, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Motorsport Collectors Edition features AMG Performance sports seats and a wide range of standard equipment, including the Burmester 3D sound system, the head-up display and the “AMG TRACK PACE” telemetry system.

The exclusive Mercedes-AMG SL 63 Motorsport Collectors Edition will be offered with the most powerful version of the range, the AMG SL 63 4MATIC. The powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 is under the front hood, developing a maximum power of 585 CV, which it transfers to the ground through the 9-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive. A real beast that draws more powerfully the attention, the units available, only 100 for the whole world but that will be distributed in the most select markets.
