The keys to the new Aston Martin V12 Vantage
In relation to a conventional Aston Martin Vantage, the new V12 Vantage has a number of new features. Some modifications focused on the one hand in weight reduction, and on the other hand, in the aerodynamic improvement. The vehicle is adorned with a body kit designed especially for the occasion. A kit consisting of new bumpers, hood and trunk lid. All in carbon fiber.
The standard battery has been replaced with a lighter one, and a new lightweight stainless steel exhaust system with a central dual outlet has been added. The change to the exhaust system alone represents a reduction of approximately 7.2 kilograms. Also worth mentioning is the new suspension system with adaptive dampers, including new stabilizer bars and springs. The steering has also been recalibrated.
There is a choice of two 21-inch alloy wheel designs that expose the carbon-ceramic brakes. A key component to maintain control of this beast and also allows further weight reduction. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot 4S tires.
If we had the opportunity to step inside the new V12 Vantage, we would quickly be enveloped in an atmosphere that exudes luxury and sportiness.
