“Son Vell Spring Summer 2024” is the name of the collection designed by Malne and available exclusively at the Vestige Collection’s Menorcan Hotel.
With the aim of maximizing the exclusive experience of relaxed luxury offered to its clients, this year Vestige Collection has concluded a collaboration with the Spanish luxury ready-to-wear and haute couture company Malne, for which it has created a capsule collection of unique, limited edition pieces that can be purchased exclusively at Son Vell, Vestige’s unique hotel in Menorca, which opened its second season on April 15th.
The Son Vell Spring Summer 2024 collection, handcrafted in the La Maison Malne atelier in Madrid, uses natural fabrics such as silk and linen and is inspired by Menorca and its traditions, which are present in the prints and the neutral palette characteristic of Vestige.
Unique pieces from an exclusive collection composed of palazzo style trousers, waistcoats, summer jackets in fresh linen and silk dresses; as well as more casual pieces such as shorts, oversized shirts, printed sarong skirts and caftans.
The collaboration between the two firms stems from the philosophy that unites them: the exclusivity of sustainable and relaxed luxury that each represents in its sector.
The fashion brand Malne was created in 2016 by renowned Spanish designers Paloma Álvarez and Juanjo Mánez, in response to the need to interpret fashion from the perspective of sustainable production, in which they value craftsmanship, the art of haute couture design in the XXI century and the exclusivity of a custom design.
Values they share with the Vestige Collection of hotels and private estates, created with the goal of offering relaxed luxury accommodations and experiences in emblematic buildings and exceptional settings, preserving the unique heritage of the properties and contributing to the promotion of quality tourism.
The garments are now available exclusively at the hotel’s boutique, which also offers the option of sending custom orders to the customer’s home.
“The business was mutual and we put our ideas together to create a unique and sustainable collection, ‘Son Vell Spring Summer 2024’, inspired by the natural colors of the hotel – sand, terracotta, stone – and the green of nature and the hundreds of olive trees that populate the estate, as well as the horse prints and equestrian details,” say Paloma Alvarez and Juanjo Mánez, creators of Malne.
